Biography

Jurij Tratnik received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering in 2007 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Currently, he is a researcher at the Radiation and Optics Laboratory of the same faculty. He is working toward the Ph.D. degree on precise, high-frequency transfer over optical fibers. His research interest is also focused on RF circuits in optical and radio communications, optical interferometry and quantum cryptography. Beside working in laboratory, he is also involved in COBIK (Center of excellence for Biosensors, Instrumentation and Process Control) and various industrial projects.
